Application for the Post of Graduate Mistress (English)

With reference to your advertisement on JUMP dated 01/01/200x, I am writing to apply for the post of teacher of English (G.M.).

I have been a full-time English teacher in XXX Secondary School since last year, responsible to teach English subject to F.1-F.3 students. I have also been a part-time private tutor for more than five years. Therefore, I am familiar with the syllabus of junior-form students.

As for my academic qualifications, I obtained my first degree of English Language & Literature in 2002. I will receive the Diploma in Education from the Hong Kong Institution of Education in August this year.

I enjoy teaching English and getting along with students. As a teacher I will always have something to offer my students.
