Application for the Post of Reporter

With reference to your advertisement on JUMP dated 01/01/200x, I am writing to apply for the post of reporter.

I received my Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Communication in May this year in the Hong Kong Baptist University, with major in Journalism. During my course of studying, I have been an active member of "Student Press", an editorial publication of the University of Hong Kong.

I got a chance to work as a reporter trainee for the Youth Magazine last summer. I gained experience of doing interviews, research writings and some editorial works there. I hope this experience will be helpful to my job as a reporter.

I would be grateful if I could be granted an interview so that I can explain my qualifications more fully. I look forward to hear from you soon.
