　　I am writing this letter to apply for the post of CEO in New Age Telecom Limited as per the vacancy notice published in the Sunday Times on 18th June 20XX.I consider myself to be an apt contender for the CEO post in your company as I have the required qualification and experience for handling the day to day challenges faced by the telecom industry.

　　I have been associated with the field of telecommunication for the past thirty years. I stared my career as trainee with the vertical telecommunications limited. For the last five years I am holding the position of Executive Director (operations) with National Telecom Company Limited. I have the technical knowledge of the problems faced by the telecommunication industries during these times of economic recession. The companies are struck with falling subscriber base and declining average revenue per user. In case provided an opportunity I will take firm steps to improve the above two basic factors for sustainable growth of the company.
